2011 Nation Champion Top Ten Bred, Owned and Shown by Exhibitor -stallion, under

(he lost to two other of my stallions who came in Champion, and Reserve Champion) 

You have to admit he's changed a lot since then. These photos were taken September 1, 2013. 

He has had a summer of some driving training. When he came back he was a little hard to catch, but this may also be because he has be playing stallion.

Above, Goblin out runs Tucker, an Australian Shepherd.

Rough measurement today, just under 31 inches.

After owning and showing Pirate back in 2011 I am just getting around to putting up photos of the little guy.

All these photos were taken in November, 2011 when I first got Pirate.

 

Now for the August, 2013 photos - see below. He has a shorter coat, but growing hair in the bridle path and getting a little fat from hanging out with his mares.

  

During the winter he was well conditioned running up an down his run with another stallion across the fence. But this summer, he has been in since Memorial Day with two mares. Too much time to graze resulted in a puggy tummy.

Toad Hill's Wind in the Willows foaled a black/white pinto filly who we named Pepper. There is a link to the page I did where I compared Pepper to Merlin, the 2011 colt Willow produced.

Driving Team - Frame Overos

Mini Bucks Chasing Rainbows and Mini Bucks Avalanche are now my new driving team.  They were trained by "Squirt" down in Arthur. He does a great job, and has trained a number of my minis...both ones he bought from me and now others when I need the help.
This is the most recent team. I loaned Squirt my breaking chariot and if we do not sell this team at the Arthur sale, June 8th....they might very well become a chariot team.

The filly who is 3 years old is the one with the black ears and black tail.

They look like they need more work to get in the right condition. This winter they did very little but just hang around in the nasty weather.

Just imagine this team in their blue harness that I used for Toad Hill's Lincoln Award and Toad Hill's Balrige Award (photo below) pulling a black chariot!!

So far I have three videos on this page.
First video is from Horse and Pony Fun Days in Arthur, IL.  The first few minutes are of chariots. The rest is just plan fun with horses and ponies and minis.
